Greenway Thrift started as a conversation between two friends who loved thrifting but saw with dismay the sharp increase in prices in most thrift stores. Far from being a "thrifty" place to shop, thrift stores have lately become almost as expensive as regular retail! We decided to do something about that.
At the same time, the numerous alley cats surrounding the business made us aware of how hard life can be for these desperate animals, who are often hungry, manged, and uncared for. With animal shelters overcrowded, understaffed, and underfunded, we put our love for thrifting together with our love for animals to create Greenway Thrift, a place that benefits both people and pets!
A portion of every dollar spent at Greenway Thrift is donated directly to our local spay and neuter programs, so you can rest assured that your support has a real impact on making animals' lives better.
